Welcome to 7th Grade Core

What Is 7th Grade Core? 

The seventh grade core team meet daily from noon to 12:45 p.m. to discuss academic, social and emotional issues confronting the students. We're available to meet with parents at that time, and can be contacted by phone at 802-222-5214 or by email (first initial plus last name @oxbowhighs.org). We hold occasional "Hundred Club Drawings" to celebrate the accomplishments of the students, we plan fundraisers for the end of the year field trip, we have a certificate ceremony for honor roll designees and organize other non-academic activities.

Lisa Paganelli teaches science, Leni Johnston teaches social studies, Robin Wozny is the math teacher, and Ted Pogacar is the English instructor. Additionally, students have art with Mary Chin, family and consumer sciences with Wendy MacKenzie, music with Cindy Hall, and chorus with Timm Judas, as well as physical education with Shawn French or Brian Musty.

Seventh graders have a teacher advisory period from 8 to 8:10 a.m.. The teacher advisor can serve as an advocate for the student.
